Question 1:  How many songs do I need for a Demo?

Response:  You need a minimum of three songs on your demo,  preferably a fast,
mid and slow tempo song that will demonstrate your versatility.

Question 2:  I have words/lyrics and no music.  How can I get music for my words/lyrics?

Response:  You have the following options:
1.  You can either purchase background tracks from EnVision
2.  You can purchase or licenses an original track(s) from our Catalog that fits
your lyrics

3.  Request one of our producer/musicians to create, customized, compose and
arrange music for your lyrics for a fee

4.  Book studio time and use our studio equipment to create your own music or
5.  Have someone you know book time at EnVision studio and develop music for you.

Question 3:  Do you offer discounts?

Response:  Yes, we offer block rate discounts for five hour or more.  We also offer new clients discounts to help you get started.  In addition, we will offer you a hosts of discounts on Production services that includes licensing and purchasing of catalog or customized music.  Please feel free to Contact us to get pricing.

Question 4:  How long does it take to record a song?

Response:  The time it takes to record a song can vary, depending on the individual.  The better prepared you are before coming into the studio the more efficient you will be with you recording time.  See Recording tips for information on pre recording preparation.

Question 5:  What's involved in recording a song?

Response:  There are three key phase in making a professionally recorded radio/sales ready song.  They are:

1.  The Recording phase
2.  The Mixing phase
3.  The Mastering phase

The recording phase is similar to gathering all the ingredients before you begin to cook.  The mixing phase is when you put all the ingredients together as in mixing to the right taste or right sound.  The mastering phase is when you put the finishing touches to be able to serve or in this case make it radio ready and ready for manufacturing and distribution.
